TV Commercials in Media

Companies run commercials for their products to keep their brand names relevant to viewers and to help sell products. The TV networks need this revenue since they are a business. This revenue helps to pay for programming that they purchase from the studios to air on their networks. There is so much commercial clutter that viewers are turned off and state that “the programs are interrupting the commercials” rather than vice versa.  Each TV daypart has a number of commercial minutes per hour. Daytime (M-F 9 am-4 pm) has more commercial minutes than Primetime (M-Sun) 8 -11 pm).1. Research how many minutes of commercial time are in Daytime and Primetime.2.
